Following this achievement, a second biodiesel refinery was established in Jorhat district of Assam, creating a strong foundation for alternative fuel production in North-Eastern India.

At present, Anchan Refinery Private Limited is progressively establishing biodiesel and alternative fuel refineries across the remaining states of the country, following a phased implementation approach.
